Bridging the Community

At Bridging the Community, we connect with and reinforce others’ efforts to strengthen the greater Kennett Square community. In our efforts, we work on the positive, potential side and will not worry about who gets the credit (It is “Community First.”) We are committed to discovering, forming, and cementing the connections between organizations and individuals.

What is Bridging the Community?

Often those of us involved in volunteering or employment in the community become isolated in our own efforts. Bridging presents the opportunity to meet other people working in the community and share our challenges, victories, and resources.
Bridging is discovering, forming, and cementing the connections in our community between organizations and individuals. In our efforts, we will work on the positive, potential side, and will not worry about who gets the credit (It is “Community First”.) We connect with and reinforce others’ efforts to strengthen our community.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in making Kennett Square and its environs a better place to grow up and grow old. Each one of us has a role to fill in this work: some are initiators, some builders, some spirit-makers, some integrators, and some nourishers. We each have strengths, talents, and energy to share with the community.

How do I become a Member?

Come to a bridging meeting! We have no infrastructure, no funding, and no membership. We do not have a board of directors, officers, or dues. The simple concept of bringing people together to create bridges is the energy that makes things happen–come and share the energy.
